No Tax, No Car.

Beat Officers attended Orchards Field, Bethersden today after getting information earlier in the week from Neighbourhood Watch. Members of the public had reported a number of nuisance vehicles that were SORN (declared off-road) and had been there for an extremely long time. Understandably, residents were unhappy with them being parked inconsiderately and the fact that they were left looking like an eyesore due to their neglected condition.

As a result, TWO vehicles were seized and recovered, both belonging to the same owner. The DVLA will now seek to claim the unpaid fees from the registered owner before the vehicles can be released. If there is no contact from the owner within a specified period of time, then the vehicles will be destroyed.
